Access: Moderate, off Emelin Street in Douglas

The Third Chute in Douglas is not the prettiest of sites, if you just want to view a great waterfall this is not the spot. If your into history and a tour of all the Falls on the Bonnechere River you must stop here. It is a challenge to find this spot, you must park on the “private property” the Emilin road leads you to a spot to park near the river (which looks like Government property) The Waterfall has two dams, one at the top and on the side, the rocks formations where almost like circles as you could slowly cross over to see the slide and where the water drops in a few areas for the waterfalls. At high flow this could be very pretty, at one time without the dams this waterfall would be significantly more impressive.
