Kingston Mill’s falls as seen above is wide and gushing at spring flow but it also can be dry in the middle of the summer. The rock formations at these Falls are very interested, you can climb to the top of the falls with extreme care by walking under the tunnel near the road and gently going across tubes to your way to the foot bridge.
Finding these Falls can we a challenge but the best viewing platform is down a trail just east of the North locks and heading down the path as far as you can go.
This entire area not only has a falls but the Rideau Canal locks, a museum, and other sites to explore as a heritage site.
