Trent River, Northumberland County
GPS: N 44 22.55 W 77 46.867
Directions: From County Road 50 near the village of Healey Falls take a small access road just north of the bridge going over the Trent. Don’t take Coles Point road which is nearby, look for an unmarked road closer to the bridge. There is parking just above the Falls.
At over a hundred metres in width, Healey Falls is an underrated Falls! Below you will find different vantage points for Healey Falls at high and medium flow. This is a very interesting spot to explore, the Falls are significantly better in person then in photographs.
From the main area you can walk to the top across the dam and also at the side and below the Falls walk through the forest area and see a lovely view from the Falls downstream and if you keep going you will see smaller sets down the river.
