Evergreen Brick Works (Don Valley Brick Works)
Address: 550 Bayview Ave #300, Toronto, ON M4W 3X8
The lead photo is from one of the hiking trails that leads to a great view of the Evergreen Brick Works and the view of downtown Toronto. Since this is an old market which shops, it is hard to generate great photographs to showcase why you must visit but it is a great mix of shops, artifacts, and history at this great location.
More from Wikepedia:
The Don Valley Brick Works, also known as Evergreen Brick Works, is a former quarry and industrial site located in the Don River valley in Toronto, Canada. The Don Valley Brick Works operated for nearly 100 years and provided bricks used to construct many well-known Toronto landmarks, such as Casa Loma, Osgoode Hall, Massey Hall, and the Ontario Legislature. Since the closure of the original factory, the quarry has been converted into a city park which includes a series of naturalized ponds, while the buildings have been restored and opened as an environmentally focused community and cultural centre by Evergreen, a national charity dedicated to restoring nature in urban environments.
