Canadian Automotive Museum
99 Simcoe St S, Oshawa, ON L1H 4G7
Among all of the serene beauty in Ontario, its great to learn about history, innovation, and culture through our distinct museums. When in Oshawa or the GTA the Canadian Automotive Museum is worth a visit, it is not the biggest museums but there is a great collection of old cars and history for the Canadian Automotive industry.
A lot of my pictures feature my helper for the day, as she enjoyed checking out the cars and even getting inside one! This is suitable for families, couples, history buffs, or anyone looking at exploring and trying something new!
The museum was founded in 1962 by a group of Oshawa businessmen through the Oshawa Chamber of Commerce. The venture was initiated mainly to preserve the automotive history of Canada and to present this history in an educational and entertaining manner. Canadian Automotive Museum Inc is a charitable corporation and has been in operation since 1963.
